Uplifting Quotes and Bible Verses To Help You Find Strength

by:

How often do you feel 100%? We’re talking about everything in your life going the way you want it – in relationships, school, business, love, and health.

High 5 if you’re constantly at 80- 100%.

But, for the rest of us…sometimes it feels like we’re just going through the motions at a constant 50%.

Being at rock bottom

I was at my lowest (like a -10% out of 100%!) when I had just transferred from Hawaii to San Francisco for college and after my first semester I realized I couldn’t afford to continue because of some financial difficulties.

But I was determined to stay and make it, so I went out every day into the city to find any opportunities (because they still had “job opening” signs at the mall back then) and every day I came back home empty-handed.

I was devastated. I prayed all the time asking God for strength.  My friends and family offered me words of encouragement which held me over and weeks later, I found myself a nice on-campus part-time job and received a tuition waiver. I didn’t have to go back to Hawaii.

In retrospect, I realized the part-time job and the waived tuition were just part of the answered prayer. I truly believe that when I asked God for strength, He answered through the kind words of my loved ones and the inspiring quotes they sent me.
